DONNA, TEXAS — The South Texas community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 21-year-old Ashley Rubio of Donna, Texas, who passed away following a long and difficult medical struggle that ultimately required life support. Her passing came shortly after her family requested prayers as they prepared for the possibility of saying goodbye.
According to family reports, Ashley was born with a rare chromosomal condition that resulted in developmental delays. In recent months, her health significantly declined, and she was later diagnosed with lupus after a series of serious complications.
