GAINESVILLE, GEORGIA, USA — The Georgia media community is mourning the passing of Martha Zoller, a veteran broadcaster and respected political commentator, who has died at the age of 67 following a sudden illness. She passed away on Monday, June 22, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.
Zoller was widely recognized across Georgia as a prominent conservative voice in radio, journalism, and political analysis. She hosted “The Martha Zoller Show” on WDUN beginning in 2019 and previously served as a longtime on-air personality with the station from 1994 to 2009, building a broadcasting career that spanned decades.
According to station leadership, Zoller had recently planned to step back from daily broadcasting after June 26 due to health concerns. Her unexpected passing has left colleagues, listeners, and friends across the state deeply shocked and saddened.
Over the course of her career, Zoller became one of Georgia’s most recognizable media figures. Beyond radio, she worked as a political commentator and public servant, including a 2012 campaign for Georgia’s 9th Congressional District and service on the State Board of Education representing District 9 in Northeast Georgia.
